Each year, Not A Glum Lot visits the majestic Bear Mountain Inn for Thanksgiving dinner. Come join fellow NAGLers for this festive day trip, it's gonna be so sweet!

- Price $85 (including tax and tip) for Adults and $35 for Kids (Ages 5-12)

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Train departure and arrival times: (directions below)
Hudson Line (in the direction of Poughkeepsie): 9:56AM departure with a 10:58AM arrival at Peekskill Station
Meet in the lobby of main lodge 11:15AM, aka The Inn and follow Trip Chairs.
11:30am : Thanksgiving Meal

- We have been informed: NO DOGS allowed in the INN.
1:00PM: Meeting
2:30PM-4:00PM : Optional Group Hike (you may want to bring a headlamp b/c it gets dark early on these fall days)

Transportation is NOT provided. You can take the train or you can drive up, directions here. If you need help, reach out via email and we'll do our best.
Train Directions to Bear Mountain Inn
To reach Bear Mountain Inn by train, start at Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. Board the 9:56 AM Metro-North Hudson Line train heading north toward Peekskill. The train ride typically takes just over one hour.
Once you arrive at Peekskill station around 10:58 AM, you’ll find that Uber and Lyft services are more readily available in this area (than if you were to proceed to a closer station). From Peekskill, request a ride to Bear Mountain Inn (99 Service Rd, Tomkins Cove, NY 10986), which is approximately a 15-minute drive away. You should arrive at Bear Mountain Inn before the 11:30 AM meal.

OPTIONAL OVERNIGHT STAY
All overnight reservations must be made by participants. Stone Lodges are just off the lake and include a living room fireplace. The Overlook Lodge is ideal for friends looking to room together as these have separate beds, while the Stone Lodges are best for couples or REALLY close friends as they've only include 1 queen size bed. Overlook Lodge and Stone Cottages (1 queen size bed per room.)
