HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Each year, Not A Glum Lot visits the majestic Bear Mountain Inn for Thanksgiving dinner. Come join fellow NAGLers for this festive day trip, it's gonna be so sweet!

Thanksgiving Day : November 28th, 2024

Buffet Meal Seated at 2:00pm at the Bear Mountain Inn

  • Price $95 (including tax and tip) for Adults and $35 for Kids (Ages 5-12)
  • Your ticket purchase is the full reservation price and includes dinner+tip+tax.
  • There are NO cash balances this year!
  • Meeting to follow at 3:30PM

Registration opens Saturday 11/16 @ 2PM.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

9:00am : Van meets in Manhattan
Departing from the corner of Houston and Sullivan around 9AM *Cost is dependent on number of participants. 

  • NO DOGS allowed in the van.
  • SPOTS in the van are SOLD OUT

If self-reporting: Meet up in the lobby, main lodge, aka The Inn and follow Trip Chairs.

11:00pm : Optional Group Hike

2:00pm : Thanksgiving Meal
Buffet Meal Seated at 2:00pm at the Bear Mountain Inn

  • We have been informed: NO DOGS allowed in the INN.

3:30pm : Meeting

6:00pm : Van Departure

TRANSPORTATION

  • NAGL Van: Departing the corner of Houston and Sullivan at 9AM *Cost is dependent on number of participants

    • There are limited seats available on the van. Van seats 13 comfortably.
  • Drive Yourself: 43 minutes by car.  Get directions.

OPTIONAL OVERNIGHT STAY

All overnight reservations must be made by participants. Stone Lodges are just off the lake and include a living room fireplace. The Overlook Lodge is ideal for friends looking to room together as these have separate beds, while the Stone Lodges are best for couples or REALLY close friends as they've only include 1 queen size bed. Overlook Lodge and Stone Cottages (1 queen size bed per room.)
